Klavier Knauer is one of the leading and largest piano retailers, which has existed for two generations in Hamburg.


Music has, in conjunction with the name of Knauer a long tradition. In 1954, the gifted pianist Peter Knauer had moved to Canada in order to make Heinzmann his piano factory training. In 1960 he had opened his first piano business. Sons of his - Jed and Ben had worked after school at the store, where they learned the whole workflow, from pianos to the atmosphere. When the children were great, they have traveled with their band around the world. In 1979 she came to Germany.

"Germany has given me very much. I wanted to try something new and I've decided to open my shop in Hamburg," recalls Jed Knauer () on the image.
Piano Today Knauer is known outside of Hamburg. Our clients include big names such as factories, Thalia Theater, Schmidts Tivoli Theater Altona, Color Line Arena. In the workshop will be conducted by highly skilled, trained professionals with Steinway & Sons repairs and lacquerware.
